About Danny

Dan WildDanny Wild works as a writer, editorial producer and photographer for Major League Baseball in New York City.  Dan joined MLB.com on Opening Day 2007 and has worked primarily covering the Minor Leagues for MiLB.com.

Dan interned and later freelanced as a reporter and photographer in 2006 with New York’s oldest newspaper, the Poughkeepsie Journal, and joined CBS Sports’ high school website, MaxPreps, in 2007 as a freelance photographer and writer.

In 2009, Dan became a contributing, volunteer photographer for the United States Military Academy at West Point, covering Army football games for the nation’s top college, along with West Point’s other Division I programs.  He was recently published by Sports Illustrated and ESPN.com.

Dan earned a journalism degree with honors from SUNY New Paltz in 2006, where he continues to serve as the university’s on-call photographer.  He lives in Rockland County, NY.
